Independent certification process recognizes Cognite’s commitment to quality and information security.
At Cognite, quality and security aren’t optional. They’re features of everything we do. That’s why we’re proud to announce that Cognite has received ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/IEC 27001:2017/2013 certifications.
ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 27001 are world-class standards developed by the International Organization for Standardization. The ISO maintains more than 22,000 such standards in total, covering everything from food safety to country codes.
After a rigorous, independent certification process conducted by Nemko, Cognite was determined to have implemented quality and information security management systems for the development, operation, sale, and marketing of industrial software products and services for asset-intensive industries.
In other words, these certifications demonstrate Cognite’s commitment to quality and information security.
From the ISO’s website:
ISO 9001:2015 specifies requirements for a quality management system when an organization:
a) needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and
b) aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
The ISO/IEC 27000 family of standards helps organizations keep information assets secure.
Using this family of standards will help your organization manage the security of assets such as financial information, intellectual property, employee details or information entrusted to you by third parties.
ISO/IEC 27001 is the best-known standard in the family providing requirements for an information security management system (ISMS).
