Espen Nordsveen is a Senior Automation Engineer in Quantafuel, now a part of Viridor Polymers, wherehe primarily focuses on automation and digitalization. He holds a Master’s degree in Cybernetics fromNTNU, Norway. His role involves a keen focus on converting data into actionable insights, a task that ispivotal in the drive towards more sustainable and efficient plant operations. In addition to his primaryfocus on data, Espen is also actively involved in typical automation and instrumentation tasks withinoperation and engineering. This dual focus allows him to contribute a comprehensive understanding ofboth the digital and mechanical aspects of plant operations.

Geir Engdahl is the Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of Cognite. Engdahl runs Cognite’s R&D department, leading the development of Cognite Data Fusion®. In 2011, Engdahl founded Snapsale, a machine learning classifieds startup. He served as CEO and CTO until Schibsted acquired the company in 2017. Before that, he spent three years as a senior software engineer for Google in Canada. Engdahl has a master’s in computational science from the University of Oslo.

With a robust background in Product Management spanning over eight years, coupled with more than eleven years of experience in data platforms and building solutions using Machine Learning techniques and AI.

Hunter is a Senior Product Manager at Cognite. Prior to his current role, he helped multinationals achieve digitalization in manufacturing as part of the global Digital Enterprise initiative at Siemens. Since joining Cognite in mid-2019, Hunter has led project execution with manufacturing clients and supported product innovation to meet industry needs.
