- Jeff Flammer, former Worldwide Go-To-Market Leader in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Business Applications, assumes new executive role at Cognite on August 29.
- Dr. Francois Laborie, who previously held the position, takes on new role as Executive Vice President, Strategic Projects at Cognite.
AUSTIN, TX – August 29, 2022 - Cognite, a global leader in industrial software, today announced Jeff Flammer has been appointed President of Cognite Americas, succeeding Dr. Francois Laborie.
Flammer will be based out of Cognite’s Austin office, where he’ll focus on accelerating Cognite’s growth and strengthening the company’s position as a leading industrial software provider in the Americas. Cognite continues to gain momentum in the region, a key strategic market for the company, and is expanding key executive roles. In addition to the US-based CEO, Cognite recently appointed Chief Revenue Officer, Paul Grenet. As President of Cognite Americas, Flammer will report to Grenet.

The addition of Flammer comes at a time of record growth for Cognite with expansion into Latin America and the formation of CNTXT, a joint venture between Cognite and Aramco to help digitalize the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Prior to joining Cognite, Flammer held leadership positions at AWS, Blue Yonder, SAP, Accenture, and GE Power. He has a master’s degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Stanford University.
