Major product release advances trust, openness, and scalability to automate complex industrial tasks with AI
AUSTIN, TX, OSLO, NO – September 11, 2024—Cognite, the global leader in AI for industry, today announced the latest release of its Data and AI platform, Cognite Data Fusion®. This major product release reduces the time it takes to onboard new customers by 50% and enables the rapid development and scale of AI solutions across the enterprise.

Additionally, this release supports the continued rollout of Cognite Atlas AI™, Cognite's low-code AI Agent builder that enables customers to deploy AI Agents directly on top of their data and across their workflows. With Cognite Atlas AI, users can use generative AI to automate certain workflows and get advanced decision-making support while ensuring the right contextual data is used to build and deploy each agent.
AI is now integrated into all of Cognite's Industrial Tools - users can search for data using natural language, access quick summaries of critical documents, and automatically color their 3D models for advanced condition monitoring. The release also introduces new functionality for turnaround scoping and maintenance planning, enabling users to run scenarios and see the ROI impacts of their decisions in real-time.
With the launch of Cognite Data Models, users can customize their data models to reflect their specific industry. The release provides guided and reusable workflows that help automate the Industrial DataOps pipeline. This automation enables seamless updates with relevant contextualized data, ensuring users have the right information for making informed decisions in the field.
Moreover, this release also expands the openness of Cognite Data Fusion, ensuring customers can work with a wide range of partners to quickly connect off-the-shelf applications to meet their needs. For example, using Cognite APIs, users can now scale their simulations to thousands of models, enhancing their decision-making capabilities.
