Cognite achieved the highest rating in asset health and condition monitoring. Verdantix attributed its strong rating to Cognite Data Fusion’s ability to provide users with condition-based alerts and health indicators. Cognite Data Fusion® does this by providing data models for individual equipment classes, as well as a data storage base and models to contextualize this data and make it understandable and applicable for the users.
Verdantix also gave Cognite Data Fusion® a top rating in the areas of data ingestion, storage, management, contextualization, and visualization, and it was also listed among the best in emission and energy management.
“We appreciate the analytical approach taken by Verdantix in this assessment. Their findings reflect the focus of Cognite Data Fusion®, in terms of our drive to ensure that our Industrial DataOps solution gives value to the engineers, supports better decision-making, and helps ensure the long-term health, safety, and productivity of our customers’ assets,” says Girish Rishi, CEO, Cognite. “Real-time data is crucial on the operational level, and using our open platform to contextualize it, provides sustainable and profitable solutions.
Additional findings from Verdantix’s analysis of Cognite Data Fusion®:
- “Cognite Data Fusion® contextualizes operational asset data at scale in real-time using AI algorithms that enable engineers to make better maintenance, production, and safety decisions.”
- “Since all plant data is collected and contextualized in Cognite Data Fusion®, models can easily be generated to monitor leaks and calculate the emissions, both on an individual asset or equipment, as well as at an aggregated plant level.”
- “We believe that Cognite should be shortlisted by CTOs and COOs seeking to establish a strong data management foundation to springboard asset management digitization initiatives and energy firms in Europe, Middle East and Asia looking to deploy asset performance management software.”
